WELCOME TO
O'MALLEY IRISH DANCE ACADEMY
Est. 1994

Our focus has always been promoting Irish culture, while fostering a sense of pride and self-confidence in our dancers... Irish or not!

We are now embarking on our 30th year of brining the joy of Irish Dance to the Marine Park, Gerritsen Beach, Rockaway, and Breezy Point communities...and beyond!

Join us as we celebrate this milestone with our biggest and best year yet!

ABOUT THE ACADEMY:

Founded in 1994 by its Director, Maureen O’Malley-Byrnes, the Academy boasts over 100 students of all ages, and serves many communities within Brooklyn and Queens. Over the last three decades, Maureen and her talented staff have trained countless dancers for local, regional, national and world competitions with great success. Additionally, her students can be found at over 60 events during the year, volunteering their time and talent to many worthwhile causes.

O’Malley students have performed all over the country, on television, at Ellis Island, City Hall, for the NY METS, NY NETS, NY LIBERTY, and BROOKLYN CYCLONES just to name a few. Our dancers perform in countless schools, nursing homes, children’s hospitals, convents, centers for children with special needs and military bases during the year. Maureen also has the school take part in many charitable fund-raisers annually including Making Strides. The school is a proud sponsor of sports programs in the parishes of Good Shepherd, St. Francis de Sales & Blessed Trinity.

Annually, two lucky recipients will be awarded dance scholarships in recognition of their hard work and all college-bound High School Seniors also receive a College Scholarship!

But above all else, our greatest achievement has been the family atmosphere we have created, which is evident when you walk into our studios, see us in a parade, or witness our dancers in a competitive setting.

Come join our family and see for yourself!
